BOYD RECEIVES NATIONAL AWARD – Hamilton Coumty AgriLife Extension Agent Bruce Boyd received the 2021 National Achievement Award from the National Association of County Agricultural Agents. Boyd has been the County Extension Agent in Agriculture and Natural Resources for Hamilton County for six years. The NACAA recognized Boyd for continuing to build the Extension program by providing high quality educational programming for producers and consistently offering new project areas and activities to the 4-H members of the county. Court approves new private roads

Hamilton County Commissioners Court Tuesday morning OK’d naming of seven new private roads in Precinct 4 and received a plat for a subdivision in Precinct 2.

Stretchology Wednesdays at St. Mary’s

Saint Mary’s Anglican Church hosts Stretchology with Christie every Wednesday from 6 to 7 p.m. in the parish hall located at the corner of Highway 36 and College Street. Bricks to honor military at memorial

American Legion Post 222 is selling brick pavers to honor or memorialize servicemen and servicewomen who served in the U.S. military and were honorably discharged. Honorees do not have be from Hamilton County. Bricks are $50 each, two or more for $40 each or more than five discounts the pavers to $35 each.
