Raymond Larry Stalnecker, 78, of Purmela, passed away on the morning of Dec. 22, 2020, surrounded by his loving family.

There are no services planned.

Raymond was born March 1, 1942, in Reading, Pennsylvania, to John K. Stalnecker and Eileen Esterly. He grew up and attended school in Reading.

Mae VaRue Little

Mae VaRue Matthews Little, 90, went to her heavenly home on Dec. 15, 2020, surrounded by loving family in Valley Mills where she had lived beside her daughter since 2009.

VaRue was born on Nov. 15, 1930, in Floydada to A.H. and Hattie Mae Matthews. In 1943 at age 13, she and siblings Billy and Jean moved to Hamilton with their parents. Hamilton provided plenty of opportunities through the years to make many long-lasting friendships.

Martha Eulene Oustad Rice

Martha Eulene Oustad Rice, 84, died Monday, Dec. 28, 2020, at Rocking Chair Ranch in Jonesboro, where she had lived for five years.

Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Riley Funeral Home. Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church with burial in Center Valley Cemetery.

Mrs. Rice was born either July 14 or July 16, 1936, in Pottsville, Hamilton County, the daughter of Martin E. and Eula V. Foller Oustad.

She graduated from Hamilton High School in 1954 and was married to James William Rice Jr. that summer.

Ann Stecker

Mrs. Ann F. Stecker, 92, of Hamilton passed away Friday, Dec. 11, 2020.

A graveside service for Ann was held Monday, Dec. 14, in Laurel Land Memorial Park, Fort Worth.

Ann was born Aug. 12, 1928, in Mineral Wells to Mary Phillip Chamberlain and Henry Loran Francis.

Ann is survived by daughter Priscilla Woodrich and husband Bob, son Pat Ferguson, and daughters Christine Pashcal and husband Alan and Lynda Hannon. She was preceded in death

Ken Nicholson

Ken Nicholson of Knoxville, Tennessee, formerly of Alamogordo, New Mexico, passed away peacefully at Prosperity Pointe Alzheimer’s unit in Knoxville on Dec. 1, 2020, at the age of 80.

He was the grandson of Pioneer family Jacob Forrest and Angie Stokes Nicholson-Indian Gap pioneer family’s, John Bailey and Ruby Greer Boler; the son of Jimmy Baker and Wayne Boler Nicholson, all formerly of Hamilton.

Rhonda Cavett

Rhonda Leitko Cavett, 62, of Cleburne died Thursday, Dec. 10, 2020, in Fort Worth.

Services were Tuesday, Dec. 15, at Rosser Funeral Home Chapel in Cleburne with graveside service and burial afterward in Gentry’s Mill Cemetery. Pastor Eddie Scheler officiated.

Mrs. Cavett was born May 3, 1958, in Hico, the daughter of John and Wanda Thornton Leitko.
