Helen Maxine (Jackson) Carroll

Helen Maxine (Jackson) Carroll passed away in Hamilton on Dec. 3, 2020.

Funeral services were to be held Wednesday, Dec. 9, at 10 a.m. at Riley Funeral Home with burial to follow in Granny’s Garden Cemetery.

Helen was born June 6, 1945, to Jack and Mildred Jackson.

She was a proud resident of Hamilton for the last 17 years and a member of the Barn Church.

Helen retired from the Assisted Living community in Leesville, Louisiana, after 20 years of service. She was an amazing caregiver to so many.

Helen was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Her grandchildren were the lights of her life. She thoroughly enjoyed every moment that she got to spend with them.

Helen was preceded in death by her parents, husband Gervis Carroll, daughter Kim Kallies, grandson Sam Bruce, granddaughter Janie Bruce and brothers Sonny and Larry Dale Jackson.

She is survived by her sister, Lilly Cooper of Lumberton; daughters; Stephanie and Steve Bruce and Angie and Mark Bruce, all of Hamilton, and Dixie and Tommy Welch of Bernice, Louisiana; grandchildren Roxanne Stroud, Jerry Dryden, Bridget and Mitch Bates, Stevie Bruce, John Bruce, Gracie Welch and Josie and Logan Flemming; and great-grandchildren Lilly, Wyatt, Carter, Paris, Paisley, Jaxon, Lakin, Noah, Jace, Brennan, Kali, Kendal, Ben, Beaux, Easton, Caden, Cadence, Jackson, Gemma, Kaige, Layton, Raylee and Grayson.
