Louis Donahoo

Louis Wayne Donahoo, 82, of Hamilton, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2020.

He was born to Albert Clifford and Lona Eunice Donahoo and raised in Hamilton. Graduating Hamilton schools, Louis spent two years in the Army stationed in Germany. He drove trucks from Germany to France delivering supplies from base and back.

Jimmie Harden Joiner, 80, went to be with Jesus in his eternal heavenly home on Saturday, Nov. 21, 2020, after a hard-fought battle with a long illness.

Visitation will be Friday, Nov. 27, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Riley Funeral Home, 402 W. Main, Hamilton. Celebration of life will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Riley Funeral Home followed by graveside service in McGirk Cemetery, 8576 CR 512.

Jimmie will be remembered for his love of his family, while his belief in Christ supported him in his struggle and ultimately gave him peace.

Billy Mac Brown

Billy Mac Brown, 82, of Aleman passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Nov. 19, 2020.

Graveside services were held in St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery, Aleman Nov. 21.

Mr. Brown was born June 22, 1938, in Coryell County and was a longtime resident of Hamilton County and the Aleman community.

Billy Mac was married to Linda Schrank on Oct. 19, 1957, in Saint Paul Lutheran Church in Aleman, where he became a lifelong member.

Patricia L. “Patty” Koonce Dodson, 57, passed away Nov. 22, 2020, surrounded by her family in Comanche after her courageous battle with cancer.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Heartland Funeral Home of Comanche. A graveside service celebrating Patty’s life will be held at 11 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 29, in the Oakwood Cemetery in Hamilton with Pastor John Delarosa officiating. The family will greet friends 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday.

Floyd James Johnson, 69, died Nov. 4, 2020.

Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 14 in Oakwood Cemetery in Comanche (located off Pine Street).

Mr. Johnson was born Dec. 28, 1950.

Survivors include two sisters, Shirley Sullivan and Sandra Kuykendall; son and daughter-in-law James and Shawna Johnson; daughter Marsha Johnson; mother of his children Rosalie Johnson; and 10 grandchildren.

Johnnie Charles Bowie, 75, passed away Nov. 6, 2020, in Hamilton.

Mr. Bowie was born in Dallas Oct. 22, 1945, to parents Loren and Doris Bowie.

Grandparents were Loren Howard and Louise Bowie of Dallas, and John and Edrie Reed of Dallas.

Gary Leon Gardner Sr

Gary Leon Gardner Sr., 82, of Lake Jackson, passed away peacefully on the morning of Nov. 6, 2020.

Visitation will be Thursday, Nov. 12, at Chapelwood United Methodist Church in Lake Jackson from 6 to 8 p.m. A memorial service will be held at Chapelwood Friday at 10 a.m.

Mr. Gardner was born July 26, 1938, to Bradley and Susie Gardner in Hamilton. After graduating from Hamilton High School, he went to Lamar University to pursue a degree in Chemical Engineering. While at Lamar he found and married the love of his life, Elinor Jouett Cannon.
