Christopher Oakley

Christopher Harley Dwight Oakley, 36, passed away Sept. 14, 2018.

A memorial service will be held in the fellowship hall of First Presbyterian Church Nov. 3 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Mr. Oakley was born Aug. 19, 1982, and had lived in Hamilton on and off since he was 11 years old.

He went to Hamilton schools and was a Bulldog football player. His team members called him “Oaktree.” He graduated high school in Cleburne before moving back to Hamilton.

Mildred Riddle

Mildred L. Riddle, 91, of Hamilton, passed away Friday, Oct. 19, 2018.

Services were Monday, Oct. 22, at Riley Funeral Home in Hamilton with Rev. Chuck Claburn officiating.

Mrs. Riddle was born March 23, 1927, to Bill and Mary (Wigginton) Pate in Rosebud. She was a longtime resident of Hamilton. She was a member of First Baptist Church.

She married the love of her life, Robert Riddle, on March 5, 1947. They celebrated 54 wonderful years of marriage. She was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening, sewing and spending time with grandchildren.

Clara Shockley

Clara Shockley, 87, of Evant passed away Oct. 22, 2018.

A graveside service will be held at Murphree Cemetery Thursday, Oct. 25, at 2 p.m.

Lucille Todd

Lucille Todd, 98, of Webster passed away Oct. 22, 2018.

Visitation will be Friday, Oct. 26, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Riley Funeral Home with services Saturday, Oct. 27, at 10 a.m. at First Baptist Church.

William Backhaus

William Backhaus of Oklahoma passed away Oct. 20, 2018. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 26, at Gentry’s Mill Cemetery.
