Mildred Riddle

Mildred L. Riddle, 91, of Hamilton, passed away Friday, Oct. 19, 2018.

Services were Monday, Oct. 22, at Riley Funeral Home in Hamilton with Rev. Chuck Claburn officiating.

Mrs. Riddle was born March 23, 1927, to Bill and Mary (Wigginton) Pate in Rosebud. She was a longtime resident of Hamilton. She was a member of First Baptist Church.

She married the love of her life, Robert Riddle, on March 5, 1947. They celebrated 54 wonderful years of marriage. She was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening, sewing and spending time with grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Robert Riddle; a brother; and three sisters.

Survivors include sons, Pete Pounds and wife Freda of Fort Davis and Michael Riddle of Carlsbad, New Mexico; daughters Patsy Perucca and husband Lynn of Granbury, Linda Tankersley and husband Dale of Belton and Nancy Claburn and husband Chuck of Monahans; 23 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren and one on the way.

The family thanks the staff at Hamilton Health Care and Solaris Hospice for the care given to their mother.
