Howard Wayne Paschal, 81, died Sunday, May 12, in Hamilton.

Visitation was Tuesday evening in Hamilton at Riley Funeral Home. Services will be Wednesday in Greenwood Cemetery, Division Street, Arlington, at 1 p.m., and afterward at Moore Memorial Gardens on Randol Mill Road.

Mr. Paschal was born Jan. 2, 1938, in Dallas.

He served in the Navy and retired from General Motors before moving to Hamilton.

He was a good man and loved his family.

Gary Porter Spring, 73, passed away Monday, May 6, 2019, after a brief illness.

A memorial and remembrance time will be held Thursday, May 16, at 10 a.m. at the McMullen Event Center.

Gary was born in Corpus Christi on Nov. 27, 1945, to Dr. J.E. Spring and Mary Margaret Porter Spring.

The family moved to Uvalde in the early 1950s, and Gary graduated from Uvalde High School in 1963.

Visitation with the family will be Thursday, May 16, from noon to 1 p.m. at Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home in Corsicana. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m., followed by graveside services with military honors and Masonic rites in Dresden Cemetery.

Mr. Howard was born Jan. 16, 1927, in Richland.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John O. “Bill” Howard and Cleo Cates Howard; brother Bill Howard; and wives Delma Carroll Howard and Ernestine Brown Howard.

Illa Vivian Bubert, 90, of Hamilton, passed away Thursday, April 25, 2019, in Hamilton.

Funeral services were held Sunday, April 28, at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Shive with burial in the St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery under the direction of Riley Funeral Home.

Mrs. Bubert was born Dec. 9, 1928, to Ira E. and Bertha E. Vick Baker. She grew up in the Hamilton County area and on Nov. 29, 1948, married Arthur Bubert in Hamilton. She was a very devoted wife and mother.

She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.

He was born on Mother’s Day, May 8, 1932, in Comanche to Richard “Dick” and Bessie (Shafer) Massingill. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother-in-law and uncle.
