Illa Bubert

Illa Vivian Bubert, 90, of Hamilton, passed away Thursday, April 25, 2019, in Hamilton.

Funeral services were held Sunday, April 28, at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Shive with burial in the St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery under the direction of Riley Funeral Home.

Mrs. Bubert was born Dec. 9, 1928, to Ira E. and Bertha E. Vick Baker. She grew up in the Hamilton County area and on Nov. 29, 1948, married Arthur Bubert in Hamilton. She was a very devoted wife and mother.

She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her husband on May 15, 2013. She was also preceded by her parents, three brothers and a sister.

Survivors include her son, Jerry Bubert and wife Yoly of Blum; three grandchildren, Shannon Manning and husband Andy Lancaster of Cleburne, Jason Bubert of Stephenville and Jessica Montoya and husband Felix of Salt Lake City, Utah; three step-grandchildren, Jackie Lopez and husband Miguel of Cleburne, Francisco Tovar of Blum and Rigo Tovar of Joshua; six great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
