Council, street crew pave new street plan

Hamilton City Council spent most of their meeting time last Thursday on the last action agenda item, “Consideration and/or action of street program. Discussion of past progress and future planning.”

Come see us! Hamilton Community Center is open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday. Meals are served at 11:30 a.m. The menu is subject to change.

Thursday: pimento cheese sandwiches by First Methodist Ladies.

Friday: egg rolls, soy sauce, cookies by Sharon and Jimmie and Delores Monday: Chicken Express tenders, green beans, potato salad by two friends: Fern and Nell Tuesday: soup, cornbread and dessert Wednesday: casseroles Thursday: taquitos, beans and moon pies by John and Michelle.

Hamilton County Historical Museum still has Texas Christmas Ornaments for 2025 available at Hamilton Floral and at the museum.

The museum has Billy The Kid books and Luker Studio photos.

Notes from the Mayor

Something has been on my heart, so this column and perhaps one a month, will be dedicated to the citizens of Hamilton and the citizens of Hamilton County who are in great need due to costly and devastating health issues. I want to bring their plight to everyone’s attention, while at the same time giving thanks for my health and that of my family.
