12U LEAGUE CHAMPS – The Hamilton Astros are the 12U League Champions and placed fourth in District. Team members are Kasey Nix-Watson, Wyatt Hitt, Luke Forrest, Cayce Fletcher, Tyler Hunt, Kellan Craig, Jaden Thedford, Hunter Sharples, Kyler Koether, Dellon Trailor, Averson Brown, Luke Ellison, Jonathan Hurst and Brayden Ranaghan, not pictured. Coaches are Dr. Keith Ellison and Dr. Shalor Craig.

Football camp next week

This year’s Hamilton Football Camp will emphasize the basic elements of stance, starts, passing, punting, pass catching, ball handling, snapping the ball and individual defense.

ALL STATE- Hamilton Bulldog sophomore outfielder Chase Weaver was named to the Texas High School Baseball Coaches Association 2A All State First Team on Monday of this week. De Leon’s junior second baseman Trey Lopez was the only other player out of Hamilton’s District 7-2A to join Weaver in receiving first team all state recognition. The regional quarterfinalist Hamilton Bulldogs finished the 2021 baseball season with a 23-11-1 record and a 17th in state ranking according to the THSBCA.

Hamilton was well represented at this year’s Super Centex Fellowship of Christian Athletes Victory Bowl.
