REGIONAL GOLF- Hamilton’s Bulldog and Lady Bulldog golfers were scheduled to tee off on Wednesday and Thursday at the The Old Brickyard Golf Course in Ferris for the 2A Region II Golf Tournament. Hamilton’s girls and boys claimed District 12-2A team titles March 29 in Cleburne and will be joined at the regional tournament by golfers from Seymour, Quanah, Olney, Archer City, Petrolia, Albany, Cisco, Hawley, Haskell, DeLeon, Santo, Hico, Tolar, Poolville, Valley Mills, Itasca, Rio Vista, Lindsay, Tioga, Muenster, Alvord, Chico, Celeste, Bland, Trenton, Wolfe City, Tom Bean, Cooper, Boles, Alba-Golden, North Hopkins, Rivercrest, Linden-Kildare and Detroit. The top three teams and top three individuals not on an advancing team will qualify to compete at the Texas 2A State Golf Tournament at The Legends Golf Course in Kingsland. The state tournament for the girls will be May 10-11, followed by the boys’ state tournament May 17-18.
