Court gives nod to music on the square

The sound of music will soon waft through the streets of downtown Hamilton as the Hamilton County Commissioners gave the thumbs up to Main Street Director Kayla Schraub Monday.

Aggie Muster in Hamilton planned for next Friday

Former students of Texas A & M University will assemble in Hamilton on Friday, April 21 for the annual Texas Aggie Muster in honor of all Texas Aggies who have passed away within the last year.

Some Hamiltonians are cross that the steeple on the historic St. Mary’s Anglican Church is bent. A heathen wind blew in its midst, causing it to lose its godly direction. Members of the church are aware it was not a great adornment for Holy Week and ask for grace while they seek guidance on its restoration. Members have contacted the Diocese, which is considering its absolution. The task will not be easy. It might require angelic intervention to reach such heights. In the meantime, let us pray it does not completely fall from grace.
