Private First Class Isaac Jarrell, 18, of Carlton graduated from United States Marine Corps boot camp at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego on January 24, 2020. PFC Jarrell successfully completed 13 weeks of intensive basic training at MCRD San Diego as one of 80 recruits in Training Platoon 1050. While in recruit training PFC Jarrell accomplished/achieved the following: Platoon Guide and Squad leader. Following ten days home on leave he will report to Camp Pendleton for two months at Infantry Training Battalion.

Hamilton High School Cosmetology program treated Mission Hospice female patients at Hill Country Estates in Hico and their daughters to a day of beauty last month. The students pampered their clients with a signature mani-pedi treatment, an illuminating facial, customized makeup application and new hairstyles. Once the makeovers were complete, the patients were given glamour photo shoots to capture the experience.
