Master Gardeners to meet Tuesday

The Hamilton County Master Gardeners will meet Tuesday, March 17, at Giovannis, 320 N. Bell in Hamilton at 5:15 p.m. The program, “Spring Cut Back and Bed Preparation,” will be presented by Linda Pledger, Hamilton County Master Gardener. Lanham social March 19

The Lanham community wil have a monthly covered dish dinner the third Thursday, March 19, at 6:30 p.m. at the Lanham Methodist Church at the intersection of Highway 22 and FM 1602. Those attending are invited to bring their favorite covered dish and enjoy food and visiting with those from Lanham, Cranfills Gap, Hamilton and surrounding areas.

Skywarn class March 26

Hamilton Volunteer Fire Department will host a Skywarn weather class Thursday, March 26, at 6 p.m. at HFVD station, 104 W. Henry. This free class is open to all responders and the public.

HVFD egg hunt April 11

The Hamilton Volunteer Fire Department will host an egg hunt on Saturday, April 11 at Pecan Creek Park in Hamilton. The siren start will be 10 a.m. There will be three age groups, 0-3, 4-8 and 9-12. Prizes will be given.

Alzheimer’s event March 26

The Alzheimer’s Association North Central Texas Chapter will be presenting “Understanding Alzheimer’s and Dementia,” a community education program on Thursday, March 26 from 2-3:30 p.m .at the Stephenville Senior Citizens Center, 164 E. Hamilton County Museum Meeting

The Hamilton County Museum’s next meeting is Thursday, March 12 at 6 p.m. Discussion on upcoming events, update on Farm and Ranch Museum. New members are encouraged to participate. Refreshments served. Membership drawing will be held for a collage of old Hamilton pictures.
