Our city administrator, Ryan Polster, received a call last week from John Provine who is with the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department. His job is to test city lakes for water quality. Utilizing electro-shock, which temporarily stuns the fish and allows them to float to the top, they check for health issues. On July 23, Mr. Provine tested our Hamilton City Lake. He reported that our city lake was in much better condition than most he checks and that there were many largemouth bass, catfish, bluegill and feeder fish.
