STREET IMPROVEMENTS -Hamilton residents have no doubt been noticing ongoing work on roads by TxDOT as State Highway 36 was narrowed down to one lane over the past few weeks. According to TxDOT Public Information Officer Jake Smith, crews are treating specific spots in various locations including U.S. Highway 281 and SH 36 including base failure repair work, and mill and inlay work. MASON TOURNEY CHAMPS - Hamilton’s eighth grade Lady Bulldogs are still undefeated. After knocking out district foe Rio Vista 49-17 on Thursday of last week, the young Lady Dogs tackled Mason 43-32 and Goldthwaite 31-18 on Saturday to claim the Mason Junior High Invitational title. Hamilton’s seventh grade Lady Bulldogs upended Rio Vista 39-2 last Thursday, improving to 9-2 on the year.
