With the school year on its last week, classes are trying to keep busy, Mrs. Missy Marwitz’s FCCLA classes have decided to have some fun with Cupcake Wars. Cupcakes Wars require students to create a platform for their cupcakes and make all of their cupcakes homemade.

Swimming pool to open Thursday

The season for splashing is here and the City of Hamilton’s municipal swimming pool is set to open on the last day of school, Thursday, May 26, at 1 p.m.

Weekend crashes clog local highways

Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office, Hamilton EMS, Hamilton Volunteer Fire Department, Texas Department of Transportation and Texas Department of Public Safety Troopers responded to a multiple-vehicle accident Sunday afternoon on US 281 north of Hamilton at the Leon River.
