Sherryl Sanchez

Sherryl Denise Sanchez passed away May 22, 2024, in Walnut Springs.

Services will be held privately at a later date.

Sherryl was born Aug. 8, 1970, in Hobbs, New Mexico, to Thomas and Karen (Long) Strahan.

Sherryl was known as “Sherri” to her family and friends and was a chef from 12 years of age, loved food, pairings, seeing others enjoying her food. No one was to leave her table hungry.

Sherri was an avid reader of horror, suspense, thrillers, including her favorite ghost stories, crime dramas and dead files.

Sherri loved rock and classic rock music and listening to her son Michael and brother Clayton playing guitar. She attended Glen Rose High School.

Preceding Sherri in death are her mother Karen Strahan, brother Thomas David Strahan II, sister in-law Rhonda Strahan and niece Tiffany Strahan.

Sherri is survived by daughters April (Nikki) Sanchez and husband Robert Chase, Sarah B. Sanchez and Katheren Aguilar-Sanchez; son Michael T. Molder; brother Clayton Strahan; granddaughter Isabella Aguilar; grandsons Aiden Guzman, Gabriel Aguilar, Thomas Aguilar, Antonio Aguilar, Alexander Chase and Jack Chase; niece, Constance (Connie) Strahan; and nephews Thomas David Strahan III and Joshua Strahan.
