James Livingston

James Alton Livingston, 78 died Oct. 14, 2023, after a brief illness.

James Alton donated his body for medical research. There will be no memorial service at this time.

James Alton was born Dec. 4, 1944, in Hamilton to James Alfred and Lydia Schrader Livingston He grew up in the Rock House community and, in his younger years, was a member of the Rock House Baptist Church.

He graduated from Hamilton High School in 1964 and served in the Army from 1966 to 1968.

James Alton was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law, James Burtis Rose.

He is survived by a brother, Jerry Livingston of Hamilton; a sister, Charlene Rose of Sachse; a niece, Kim Rose Bryant and her husband James, also of Sachse; and a nephew, James Michael Rose and his wife, Marlene of Intercession City, Florida.
