Dencie Lutz

Dencie Lutz, 91, of Hamilton went to heaven July 14, 2023, surrounded by her family.

Celebration of life services will be at a later date.

Dencie Mae Partridge Lutz was born July 28, 1931, to Melvin and Edna Partridge in Norfolk, Virginia.

She married the love of her life, Clifford Lutz, April 20, 1972, in Chesapeake, Virginia. They moved to Bedford to pursue their careers, she with Sarah Coventry; he with the Federal Aviation Administration. Their love of Christ led them to open their home to a group of Christians who would later establish Gospel Light Church in Haltom City.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Clifford; infant daughter Brenda Sue; and sister Mary Moffitt and husband Lawrence.

Survivors include niece Sharon Gifford and husband John; nephew Blair Moffitt and wife Vickie; great-niece Emily Pinson and husband Joshua; “sweet girl” Emily Weems; special “sister” Jackie Gifford Robinson; longtime close friend and pastor Kathy Cunningham; and a loving church family.
