Jerry Drake

Jerry Clyde Drake, 80, of Burnet gently passed away at his Lake Buchanan home March 22, 2023.

His life celebration will be at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home in Burnet Wednesday, March 29, at 4 p.m.

Mr. Drake was born Aug 23, 1942, in Hamilton to Vivian and Owen Drake.

He was highly respected in the offshore pipeline industry. He made many lifelong friends and traveled the world. He moved back to Texas where he started a family and began his many small business adventures.

He was the owner of several boat, car and tractor dealerships. He was a legend and will be missed by many.

Survivors include his son Dillard; stepson Kelly; brother Bobby and Pat Drake of Abilene; sister Janie and Jack Jackson of Troy; and grandchildren McKinley, Landon and Hadley.
