Betty Jean Tyson 87, of Jonesboro passed away Dec. 2, 2022.
Betty was born Dec. 22, 1934, to S.A. and Omie Crews in Comanche County.
She married Lee Oran Tyson in 1949. They were happily married for 53 years.
Betty worked as a seamstress for years and was a devoted housewife while raising her grandkids.
Her hobbies included sewing, sculpting and cooking her famous bread and cinnamon rolls.
Betty is preceded in death by her husband Lee Oran Tyson.
Betty had four kids who loved her dearly, daughter Ann Batte of Oregon and sons David Lee Tyson of Hamilton and Victor Matthew Tyson and Tony Adams Tyson, both of Jonesboro.
