Jo Ann DeHart

Visitation for Jo Ann (Ford) DeHart, age 81, was held Friday, Oct. 21, at the Brownfield Funeral Home.

Graveside service was Oct. 22 in the Terry County Memorial Cemetery under the direction of the Brownfield Funeral Home.

Jo Ann was born Dec. 25, 1941, to Leila Flache Ford of Brownfield and Jay B. Ford of Portland, Oregon. She passed away peacefully on Oct. 17, 2022.

Jo Ann lived her adult life in Hamilton, where she was a homemaker and for the past three years made her home at the Focused Care Nursing Home at Hamilton. All the staff and friends at Focused Care loved Jo Ann’s wit and mischievousness.

Jo Ann was preceded in death by her parents, two sis-ters, Vernelle Ford and Sandra Sue Ford, and brother Jimmie Brodie Ford.

Jo Ann is survived by brother Edwin R. Ford and wife Regina of San Antonio; and nephews Bryan Ame Ford (Erin) of St. Augustine, Florida, and John Brody Ford (Marcelle) of Auburn, Washington.
