Alton Hohertz

Our beloved father, Alton E. Hohertz, 93, of Hamilton, passed away Monday, Feb. 14, 2022.

Funeral services were held Feb. 23 in Dallas.

He was born in Hamilton March 17, 1928. Alton graduated from Hamilton High School. He served in the United States Air Force from 1947 to 1954 as a flight engineer with the 97th Bombardment Wing at Biggs AFB. He retired from Itek Graphic Products as a top salesman.

Alton had a passion for fishing, eating fried catfish, a Louisiana throwdown and all of his family.

Alton was married to our mother, Kathleen, July 15, 1952.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 54 years Kathleen, son Gary, daughter Cheril and son-in-law Lloyd Moseley.

Our dad, grandpa and great-grandpa is survived by children Anita (Randy) Con-over, Caren Hohertz, Cathy Hohertz and Sarah McLaughlin; grandchildren Randy Conover Jr, Amy Conover, Kathleen (Karl) Frischhertz, Amanda Moseley and Steven McLaughlin; great- grandchildren Kenny and Madison Frischhertz, Harper and Hartleigh Conover, Melissa Conover and Julie Starrett.

He is deeply missed. Remember me, I’m the one who loves you.
