Gerald Wayne Walls Sr.
Gerald Wayne Walls Sr., 92, of Hamilton passed away Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2022.
Wayne was born Jan. 15, 1930, to Lois Ellen Kirkpatrick and Saint Elmo Walls.
He married Norma Kay Walls on Jan. 30, 1965, in Glen Rose. Together they owned and operated Traders Corner and Norma’s Outlet.
Wayne was a lifetime member of the American Quarter Horse Association and American Angus Association, Hall of Fame member of Kirby Company and Eastern Star member and officer, Golden Trail Award, Past District Deputy Grand Master, Chaplain and past Worshipful Master, Lifetime member of Shriners, member of Scottish Rites, Masonic Lodge-Shriner 32nd degree.
Wayne held many other office positions in the lodge. He was a masonry instructor, and loved playing dominoes and checkers, teaching many people to play.
He is survived by daughter Kimberly Minnick and husband James; son Gerald Wayne Walls Jr. and wife Shirley Walls; daughter Jean Ann Seale and husband Sam Seale; stepson Jerry Pace; and stepdaughter Belinda Krieg; brother Benny R Moses and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife Norma Kay Walls; his father, Saint Elmo Walls; his mother, Lois Ellen Kirkpatrick; and sister Jean Burris.
