Tom Parrish

Tom Parrish of Evant went to be with the Lord on Nov. 30, 2021, at the age of 76.

Born Aug. 28, 1945, in Gatesville to Jakie and Mildred Parrish, he graduated from Gatesville High School. He volunteered to work in Vietnam for Bell Helicopter. He was a business owner and rancher for many years, but his favorite pastime was trapping hogs. He also loved spending time hunting and fishing with his family.

Tom was very proud of his grandchildren and great-granddaughter. He was always bragging about each of their accomplishments. He was very fortunate to be able to see his grandson Cason play in the Little League World Series and his son Clay coach the team this past summer in Bridgeport, Pennsylvania.

Tom is survived by his wife Linda Neie Parrish of 51 years; children Jason and wife Stacey Parrish, Mindy and husband Duane Jenkins and Clay and wife Kayla Parrish; grandchildren Sara and husband Cody Price, Luke Parrish, Autumn Jenkins, Cason and Kinslee Parrish; great-granddaughter Piper Price; sisters Martha Ann Zim and Becky Lackey and sister-in-law Virginia Parrish.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother June Parrish.
