Shane Carr

Bobby Shane Carr, 42, of Hamilton, formerly of Goldthwaite, died Aug. 12, 2021, at Georgetown.

Services were Saturday, Aug, 21, at Stacy-Wilkins Chapel in Goldthwaite with David Crosby officiating. Burial was in Goldthwaite Memorial Cemetery.

Shane was born Oct. 4, 1978, in Brownwood to Glenndon Carr and Cynthia Tucker. He was an MWD in the oilfield. He was married to Christi Harmon Feb. 10, 2001, in Waco.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Survivors include his wife Christi Carr of Hamilton; children Astin Carr and Skylar Carr, both of Hamilton; his mother, Cynthia Carr; brothers Glenn Carr of Fort Worth and John Salter of New Deal; sisters Sandy Carr of Hamilton and Melissa Burton of Abilene; and a number of nieces and nephews.
