Alene Yant

Alene Yant, 84, of Tolar, passed away Wednesday, May 27, 2020.

Services were held Saturday, May 30, at Wiley Funeral Home Chapel, Granbury, with interment in Tolar Cemetery.

Alene was born May 11, 1936, in Dublin to Ferrol and Lena Keeter. She married Trumon Yant Oct. 9, 1961 in Antlers, Oklahoma.

She loved her family dearly and enjoyed going to Garcia’s with them and to Grump’s with her twin brother Dick. She loved babies, Facebook, and her favorite cat “Ba-by Girl”.

Alene was very active and attended Triple Cross Cowboy Church. When posed with questions, she would often reply, “only God knows.”

Alene is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Trumon Yant; daughters Vicki Shipman and husband Todd and Leann Brockman and husband Neal; grandsons Colten Bison, David Brockman and Brayden Brockman; and brothers Dick Keeter, her twin, and Nolan Keeter.
