Pearl McFarland

Pearl Lee McFarland, 95, of DeLeon, passed away in Fort Worth Monday, March 16, 2020.

Her funeral service, under the direction of Heartland Funeral & Cremations of Comanche, was held Friday, March 20, at the Heartland Chapel, with interment in Energy Cemetery, Comanche County.

Pearl Ikr was born Jan. 20, 1925, in Achille, Oklahoma, to Edgar and Exia Vera (Groomer) Iker. She graduated from Gorman High School and married Albert Westmoreland in Gorman on July 5, 1946. She was a homemaker and a Baptist.

Following the passing of Mr. Westmoreland, Pearl was married to Fred McFarland on May 5, 1991, in Temple.

She was preceded in death by husbands Albert Westmoreland and Fred McFarland, granddaughter Robbi Fry and daughter-in-law Glenda Westmoreland.

Survivors include a son, Gary Westmoreland of Fort Worth; daughter Pam Quigg of DeLeon; grandchildren Sandi Westmoreland, Leigh Ann Westmoreland, Gary Westmoreland Jr., Christy Matthews, Damon Fry and Scotty Quigg; 10 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
