Deanie Marwitz

Willidean “Deanie” Marwitz, 87, of Priddy, died Aug. 19, 2019, in Priddy.

Visitation is 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 21, at Stacy-Wilkins Funeral Home. Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Zion Lutheran Church in Priddy, and burial will be in St. John Cemetery in Priddy.

Mrs. Marwitz was born Sept. 28, 1931, in Hamilton County, the daughter of Bud Witzsche and Freda Menzdorf Witzsche. She was married to Truman Franklin Marwitz Oct. 29, 1949, in Priddy. She was a homemaker and a member of Zion Lutheran Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband in 2018; son Danny Marwitz in 2013; great-granddaughter Taylee Sandoval; brother Wilford Witzsche; and brothers-in-law Ernest Hopper and Bobby Carr.

Survivors include her daughter, Karen Tyson and husband Anthony of Newburg; daughter-in-law Cindy Marwitz of Comanche; grandchildren Kristi Sandoval, Stanton Marwitz, Ryan Marwitz, Jacob Marwitz and Brady Tyson; 14 great-grandchildren; and sisters Katherine Hopper of Hamilton, Allie Carr of Grand Prairie and Carolyn Marwitz and husband Gaylon of Hamilton.

Pallbearers were Stanton Marwitz, Kristi Sandoval, Ryan Marwitz, Brady Tyson, Ricky Carr and Michael Hopper.

Honorary pallbearers were Habert Hopper and Craig Hopper.
