Ted Truss

Ted Wayne Truss, 64, of Stephenville, died Wednesday, March 13, 2019.

Funeral services were held Sunday, March 17, at Stephenville Funeral Home chapel with Gary Williams officiating.

Ted was born on Jan. 12, 1955, in Gatesville to Tom and Viola Hennig Truss. He grew up in Hamilton County and attended public school in Hamilton. Ted was a member of the Lutheran faith and spent the last 35 years in Stephenville. He was a diesel mechanic.

He was preceded in death by his father, T. J. ‘Tom’ Truss.

Survivors include his son, Tanner; step-children Michael Hale of Killeen, Tina Aardal of Stephenville and Katrina Breaux of Corpus Christi; mother, Viola Truss of Stephenville; brothers, Tom and wife Joann of Bryan, Terry and wife Judy of Stephenville, Tim Truss of Granbury and Travis and wife Vicki and Troy and wife Sheryl, all of Stephenville; and numerous nieces and nephews.
