Winston Walton left this world Nov. 18, 2023, after a long illness.
Mr. Walton was born July 27, 1942, in Hamilton, the son of James Claibourne Walton and Leone Patterson Walton.
He was a teacher, a chemist, builder and fourth-generation rancher in Lampasas and Hamilton counties.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Jill Fender Walton; a son, Clay Walton; daughter Mollie Walton; two grandchildren; and a sister, Cynthia Walton Lewis and husband Steve Lewis.
