William Morrison

William R. Morrison passed peacefully at his home on March 8, 2021.
He was born July 22, 1933, in Pasadena to William A. and Bessie Morrison.
He obtained a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1956 from University of Houston and a master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering at SMU in 1961.
William was a first Lieutenant in the U.S. Army. While working at Conair / General Dynamics in Ft. Worth, he worked on B-58 Supersonic Bomber, Nuclear Airplane project, ROBO project, DYNA-Soar project (advanced version of B-58) and the B-58 Escape Capsule.
