Wendell Wilbourn
Wendell Clay Wilbourn, 63, of Hamilton, passed away on April 1, 2024, after a valiant fight. He is finally free and face to face with Jesus.
He was born in Snyder on Oct. 6, 1960, to Merle and Barbara Wilbourn. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy.
He married his beloved wife, Carol Wilbourn, on July 20, 1996.
Wendell loved and cared deeply for others in his everyday life and longtime career as a funeral director. He was an amazing musician and shared his talent and heart as a worship leader at Living Waters Worship Center, where he and Carol were members for 25 years.
Wendell was additionally skilled in construction and business and had several business ventures throughout his life. Wendell is preceded in death by his mother Barbara, sister Merleanne Money and great-granddaughter Kadance West. He is survived by the love of his life, wife Carol of 27 years; his father Merle Wilbourn; daughters Angie Johnston and husband Robert and Mandi Johnson; son Adam West; nephew Michael Byars; nieces Ashlea Good and April Money; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Wendell was a treasured and loved Gampaw to Cassi, Candice, Carissa, Chelsea, Destiny, Haley, Makenzi and Tyler and great-Gampaw to Carson, Clayton, Mila, Hazel, Christopher Jr. and Khamani. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. The family would like to thank all his friends and Riley Funeral Home for services during this time of need.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 13, 2024 at 10 a.m. at Living Waters Worship Center, 720 S. Bell, Hamilton.
