Springer Courtney

John Clark Courtney, known to most of us as Springer John, or just Springer, passed away Sept. 19, 2022, at his family home in Lake Worth. He was 53.

Visitation will be Thursday, Sept. 22, 5 to 8 p.m. at Riley Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with burial in Greenwood Cemetery, Fort Worth.

John was born Oct. 9, 1968, to William Anderson Courtney and Constance Courtney of White Settlement.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, William Courtney III and Randy Courtney.

Survivors include his wife, Brenda Lee Courtney of Hamilton; daughters Kelliann

Courtney of Hamilton and Kacey Jae Courtney of Lindale; three stepchildren Cameron Haggard, Dakota Haggard and Britney Clifton; a grandson; seven stepgrandsons; and countless friends.
