Shayla Craig

Shayla Rochelle Craig, 41, passed away June 19, 2024.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Shayla was born Dec. 30, 1982, in Bexar County to Lena Stange and Jimmy Craig Sr.

She was a loving mother, daughter and sister, always caring, helping others and smiling. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is preceded in death by grandparents Tommy and Rita Craig of Hamilton and William Kelly of Mobile, Alabama; and stepfather Charles Stange Jr.

Shayla is survived by her parents; three daughters, Ryleigh Vaughn and husband Austin of Hamilton, Raegan Craig, 12, and Jayla Batson, 7; siblings Charlotte Craig and children of Hamilton, Tara Patterson and children of Gatesville, Angelina Stange and children of Burnet; Jimmy Craig Jr. and wife Kayla and children of Hamilton and Willie Gray of San Antonio; two granddaughters, Cyleigh Craig and Harper Vaughn; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
