Service set for Wenzel
ENGAGED- Paul and Carol Radle of Hamilton announce the engagement of their daughter, Bethany Carol Radle, to Bryan Taylor Roberts, son of Dr. David and Melinda Roberts of San Antonio. Bethany is a 2011 graduate of Hamilton High School and worked as a licensed physical therapy assistant with Hamilton Healthcare System August 2019 through May 2020. Bryan earned his geology degree from Sul Ross State University and builds custom homes for Truax Construction in San Antonio. The wedding will be in the Texas Hill County on Aug. 1, and the couple will reside in San Antonio.
GOLDEN ANNIVERSARY- Darrel and Sherry Werley of Hamilton celebrated their 50 th wedding anniversary in Broaddus. They were married June 13, 1970, in Eunice, New Mexico, and have two children, three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Darrel and Sherry based their successful marriage on Corinthians 13:4-7.
KOELLING WENZEL
A celebration of life and memorial service for Koelling Dee Wenzel will be held Saturday, July 11, at 10 a.m. at Calvary Baptist Church.
A graveside service will follow in the family cemetery on Highway 281 North.
Wenzel, 58, died March 28, 2020.
“KD” was a master wood craftsman and built cabinets, restored and built homes and made tiny jewel boxes.
He is survived by sons, Jeremiah, Jaden and Jairus; their mother Voy; his mother Naomi; fiancé Jenny and her daughter Kayleigh; father Ronald and stepmother Sharla; siblings Kent, Kevin and Kara; and many aunts, nephews and nieces.
