Roberta Pinkerton

Roberta “Bertie” Jane Wilson Pinkerton, 69, died Wednesday, June 5, 2024, at Coldwater Manor nursing home in Stratford, holding the hand of her husband, Russell Wayne Pinkerton, who was by her side.

A memorial service for Roberta will be held some time in the future.

Roberta was born Oct. 28, 1954, in Comanche to Robert Deloy and Sylvia Wilson of Pottsville.

She was a devoted wife, mother and teacher. Roberta will especially be remembered for her love of the “special needs” children she taught for many years at the schools in Floresville.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert D. and Sylvia Wilson of Pottsville; and her sisters Patricia Boulton,

Cindy Kyle and Jennifer Dickerson.

Roberta is survived by her husband; children Deanna Kay Hill and Steven Russell Pinkerton; and a sister, Debra Hanes.
