Our beloved father Robert Lynn Parrish passed away peacefully in his home on Thursday, Feb. 6, 2025, at the age of 80.

A celebration of life will be Saturday, Feb. 15, at 3 p.m. at the Barn Church.

He was born in Hamilton on Jan. 30, 1945. He graduated from High School in Flat in 1963 and enlisted in the Coast Guard.

He then pursued a college education in architecture school, then spent his life as an independent contractor.

He married his Brenda July 12, 1971, and they lived in Gatesville, where they raised their children, and he started his ministry. He was committed to his faith in the Lord and was unashamed and straightforward in witnessing for Jesus and his word. His faith and dedication to Christ inspired others on their journeys through life.

He is survived by sons Bill Parrish of Hamilton, Anthony Parrish and wife Tracy of Hubbard and Randy Wallis and wife Lisa of Georgetown; daughters Mendie Parrish and spouse Aarron Galloway of Hamilton, Brandie Forrest and husband Clabe of Evant and Christy Latouf of Waco; sisters Ann Gilkey of Waco and Elaine Clark and husband Phil of Dallas; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

He is proceeded in death by his wife Brenda Parrish, parents Roland Edgar and Montie Parrish, brother Edgar Brooks Parrish, sisters Lilly Octava Parrish and Betty Parrish and great-grandchildren Kaidyn Moore and Maysen Moore.
