Robert Loewe

Robert Loewe, 87, passed away Thursday, April 7, 2022, in Gatesville.

Funeral services were Saturday, April 9, at Scott’s Funeral Home Chapel in Gatesville, with burial in Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery, near the Aleman community in Hamilton County.

Robert Rudolph Christian Loewe was born Dec. 21, 1934, to Charlie Loewe and Nettie Voges Loewe. He was a resident of Hamilton for the majority of his life and a longtime member of Bethel United Methodist Church. He spent years of his life in service to others from the United States Army to his work with church. His community outreach was performed by the graciousness of his heart, without want of recognition or reward. To know Robert was to love him.

Robert was preceded in death by his wife, Wilma Loewe, in 2021 and is survived by a large family that will miss him dearly.
