Richard Lee Dixon, 81, of Chestertown, Maryland, went to his eternal home on Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2022.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Feb. 26 in Murphree Cemetery in Evant.
Richard was born July 26, 1940, in Fort Worth to Paul Ernest and Laura Mae Brown Dixon.
He retired from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers after 45- plus years of service.
Richard is survived by his daughter, Rebecca Anne Dixon of Lillian; sons Richard Lee Dixon Jr. of Crumpton Maryland, Russell Jess Dixon and wife Traci Leigh Dixon of Watauga; sister Joyce Faye McGilvray and husband Floyd of Shive; four grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
