Paul Baines
Paul Irvin Baines, 88, of Hamilton died Aug. 23, 2024, in Fort Worth.
Interment will be in Portsmouth, Virginia. Paul was born in Portsmouth, the son of Earnest Onan Baines and Pauline Wilkins.
He attended DeVry University in Chicago and worked for General Dynamics in Fort Worth before moving to Arlington in 1967 to raise his family.
He served in the United States Navy Reserve and worked on the USS Kitty Hawk.
Paul traveled around the country working in the aviation industry designing wireless harnesses and fire protection systems for McDonnell Douglas, Ling-Temco-Vought, Northrop Grumman and Boeing.
He was an avid photographer whose photos were published in trade magazines and local newspapers.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Adrian and Merrill Baines.
Survivors include his children, Alisa Brown and husband Richard and Jeffrey Baines, all of Mansfield; siblings Donnie Baines of Chesapeake, Virginia, Jimmy Baines of Danville, Virginia, and Florence Baines of Chesapeake; and two grandchildren.
