Martha Larine Guest
Martha Larine “Reeny’’ Robinson Guest was born in Dallas on September 30, 1945 and passed away on January 28, 2023 after a year-long valiant and courageous battle with pulmonary fibrosis.
She was buried February 4, 2023 at Oakwood Cemetery.
She spent most of her youth in Hamilton County where she met her husband, Bobby. Martha anxiously supported and accompanied him in over 50 years of whirlwind adventures and misadventures including entrepreneurship (some richer-some poorer), auto racing, aviation, an unparalleled level of vintage and antique automobile enthusiasm and soccer coaching. They stuck together through race car crashes, forced plane landings and life’s usual ups and downs.
They raised Austin and Corbett, supporting all of their adventures and misadventures as well. “Nay Nay” was most in her element as a mother and grandmother, helping to care for all four of her grandchildren when they were young. She was a great homemaker who always enjoyed getting dinner on the table, hosting family gatherings and keeping one of the world’s cleanest houses. She liked reading, classic films and helping with all of her family’s diverse endeavors.
She was preceded in death by her husband Bobby, her parents Rex and Georgia Robinson, and her brother Rex Dee Robinson. She is survived by her sons and daughters in law: Corbett and Tiffany Guest; Austin and Dee Dee Guest. She is also survived by her four grandchildren: Gabi (and her husband Jake), Beckham, Eli and Fen; as well as her brother Jerry Robinson and nephews, Adam and Jerrod. She is also survived by many beloved cousins and their families.
