Larry Miles

Larry Wayne Miles, lifelong resident of Hamilton, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2020, at the age of 60.

A memorial service is set for 10 a.m. Monday, Oct, 5, at Riley Funeral Home,

Larry was born June 10, 1960, in Dallas, the son of Wendell Miles and Patsy Hopson and the stepson of Clint Hopson. Larry and his wife Brenda

Larry and his wife Brenda were married in Lampasas on March 1, 1984. They have three loving children, LaShawnda Clopton, Dana Miles and Larry Miles II. His children and grandchildren brought so much light and joy to his life, and his absence will be felt for generations to come.

Larry spent many years working for Jim Ballow at the Texaco Station. When he was not with his family at home, Larry loved to fish and drink coffee with his friends. A lifelong resident of Hamilton, there are few people in Hamilton who have not had contact with Larry or another member of his family. He will be missed by anyone who had the opportunity to know him.

Larry is survived by his wife Brenda; daughters Lashawnda Clopton and Dana Miles; son Larry Miles II and daughter-in-law Violet; grandchildren Andrew Miles, Ryan McKandless, StarLindsey McKandless, Aaron Miles, Samuel Miles, Brett Miles, Gracie Pina, Cody Miles and Sophia Miles; sisters Donna Jones, Jennifer Hopson, Samantha Hopson, Elizabeth Miles, DeAnne Chandler, Patricia Jones, Wendelynn Gay Miles Dutton, Mary Helen Miles Nichols and Wendy James; and brothers Shayne Parks, Ronnie Stigall and Jimmy Hopson, all grieving his loss.
