Kenneth Porter

Kenneth Earle Porter, 64, lost his battle to cancer on Nov. 23, 2020. He passed away peacefully in his home with his wife by his side.

Ken was born Oct. 27, 1956 in Jackson Mississippi. He was a loving husband, father, pops and friend. He spent time serving his country in the Navy.

He was a hard worker and dedicated 19 years as a fitter at C&F Steel in Hamilton. Kenneth enjoyed spending his time camping, watching westerns, spending time with his family and being the greatest “Pops” he could be to his grandbabies. Kenny was a kind-hearted man and will be missed dearly.

Ken was preceded in death by his parents, Melton and Mayzelle Porter, and brothers Wayne, Charles and Jack Porter.

He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Becky Porter; brothers John and Larry; sisters Linda and Brenda; three sons, John and wife Emily, Russell and wife Stephanie, Randy and wife Leasa; and three grandchildren; Noah Starr, Izzy Starr and Finlee Porter.
