June McGinty

Patricia June McGinty, 88, died peacefully Nov. 17, 2018, surrounded by family and loved ones.

Funeral services were set for 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 21, at Scott’s Funeral Home in Gatesville with burial in Gatesville Masonic Cemetery.

Mrs. McGinty was born Nov. 26, 1929.

Prior to moving to the Gatesville area, she and husband J.W. were active for several years in Highlands Christian Church in Dallas. She was an active businesswoman and C.P.A. in Dallas and Gatesville. She loved saltwater fishing, traveling, crossword puzzles and occasionally golfing. After moving to the Gatesville area she became a member of O.E.S. Chapter No. 1005, where she was active for 31 years. She held several state positions in both Eastern Star and the Grange.

She was preceded in death by husband J.W. McGinty; siblings Rex Kiles, James Kiles and Janice Harris; son-in-law Ray Franks; and great-grandson, Justin Flach.

Survivors include three daughters, Kathy Franks, Pat Flach and Walter and Peggy McGuigan and Jeff Bryant; seven grandchildren, Michael Franks and Liz, Chris Flach and Tina, Matt Flach and Melissa, Doug Flach and Cynthia, Jay Flach, Elisia Garcia and Joe and Phillip McGuigan and Polina; 10 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
