John Richard Webb

John Richard Webb died May 24, 2024.

A memorial service will be held at 9 a.m. July 20 in Gentrys Mill Cemetery.

JR graduated from Snyder High School and attended Tarleton State University and mortuary school. He was known to family as Poppy, and he enjoyed cooking.

He was married to Joyce Faye Randall Andrews Webb.

He was preceded in death by his mother Ann Wiggington and husband Steve and nephew John Wiggington.

Survivors include his wife Joyce; sons Peter Webb and Richard Webb; stepchildren Nelda Duff, Ronnie Andrews and wife Teri and Jeannie Doty and husband Larry; grandchildren Caleb Duff and wife Jessica, Madi Andrews, Clint Doty and Jennifer Doty; great-grandchildren Ethan, Erin, Penny, Morgan and Madisen; a brother, Jim Wiggington and wife Kippy; and nieces and nephews Steven and Deb, Liberty and Lucy, Philip and Heather, Jamison and Tripp, Micki and Cris Evans and Keeton and Brock.
