Jimbo Pruitt

James H. Pruitt, fondly known as “Jimbo,” passed away May 19, 2022.

Per his wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held at Jim’s favorite place, Delaine’s ranch northwest of Austin.

Jim was born Feb. 7, 1945, to James Pruitt and Maudine (Moore) Tubbs.

Jimbo had lived the last 45-plus years in Austin, where he met his dear friends Delaine Weil and her children Darin and Lainey. They remained close friends his entire time in Austin.

Jim was an incredible artist whose many drawings were gifted to friends and relatives and will be treasured always.

Left to celebrate his life are his brothers, Tom Pruitt (Karen) and family and Steven Pruitt (Regina) and family.
