Frances Prewitt
Frances Prewitt, 76, of Hamilton passed away Thursday, Aug. 13, 2020, at Hamilton Healthcare Center.
Graveside services were held Sunday, Aug. 16, in San Saba City Cemetery with Pastor Samantha Chambers officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home of San Saba.
Frances was born to Edwin and Laura (Arthur) Hunter on Nov. 27, 1943, in Bay City. She was a member of First United Methodist of Hamilton. Frances had a giving heart, she loved to give to the needy especially during the holiday seasons. She was very gifted and had many talents including crocheting, sewing, knitting, quilting and painting, which she enjoyed during her free time.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Kathy Prewitt; two brothers, Sonny Hunter and Lawrence E. Hunter; a sister, Doris Ann Tillerson; and her parents, Edwin and Laura Hunter.
Frances is survived by her children, James Prewitt and wife Shelly, Johnny Lee Prewitt, Rose Villarreal and Larry Rambo, and Margaret Prewitt; four grandchildren, Kenneth Prewitt, Cameron Prewitt, Jessica Marie Lane and Melissa Prewitt Jones; five great-grandchildren, John Henry Lane, John Curtis Lane, Savanna Rain Lane, Donald Keith Van III and Shawn Jones; a sister, Laverne Martinez; a brother, Ronnie Hunter; and numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
