Faye Corrado

Faye Ann (Buckner) Corrado, 61, went to her heavenly home on Friday, Sept. 1, 2023. A memorial service was held Tuesday, Sept. 5, at the Barn Church in Hamilton with Bobby Stovall officiating.

Faye was born Oct. 4, 1961, to Ernest (Monk) and Rita Buckner. She was a member of Hamilton High School Class of 1979 and graduated from Tarleton State University with a degree in Exercise and Sports Studies.

Faye married Steve Corrado June 30, 2000. They resided in Weatherford and built a successful glass company together in Fort Worth.

Faye spent her free time fishing every chance she got, especially at Port O’Connor. She loved to travel to every sporting event imaginable for her grandchildren, even driving across the country for a tournament. She loved her family and friends deeply. She was everyone’s greatest cheerleader and offered unwavering love and support.

Faye was preceded in death by her parents and brother Billy Buckner.

Survivors include her husband Steve Corrado; son Noah Downs and wife Theresa; daughter Millie Shinn and husband Justin; son Luke Corrado; grandchildren Cassidy, Kristin, Amanda, Macie and husband Luis, Baylyn and Jaylee; great-grandchildren Zoey, Kooper, Harper, Kit, Hailyn and Olivia; and numerous siblings, nieces and nephews.
